Description:

The description of manufacturer:

Visual impairment is difficult to explain and even more complex to experience during awareness campaigns.

This technological innovation, made by CFLOU, replaces plastic simulation glasses with augmented reality and goes further than the simple simulation of blindness (which is less widespread than visual impairment).

This use of new technologies attracts more people to take a real interest in low vision.

How does it work?

  • 20 eye diseases simulations in a real environment
  • Cumulative diseases with adjustable intensity (from 1 to 10)
  • Customizable vision fields with Esterman grid
  • Control up to 3 simulators simultaneously with 1 control panel

You can simulate the following diseases :

  • Decrease of visual acuity
  • Photophobia
  • Eye loss
  • Hemianopia
  • Quadrantanopia
  • AMD
  • Cataract
  • Glaucoma
  • Retinitis Pigmentosa
  • Diabetic Retinopathy
